I don't get the difference with setting up the email for the website under administration and the mailbox settings for each project. Do I have to setup a different email box for each project? And then does it go in the format of whatever@email.com in the project setup? I can't find help on this.

The mailbox section is to handle incoming emails through pop3 mail accounts. All outgoing email notifications options are handled through the application configuration page.

But in the application configuration, I setup a mailbox there. What is the point of that mailbox if I setup a mailbox for each project? Is that the case? I don't see a place for password for the project though.

I guess what I'm confused about is the point of the mailbox setup for the project since there is no password. What is the mailbox in the application configuration used for?

And I get an SSL error when it attempts to check the email. Is there a way to tell it not to use SSL? I thought I ready that this would be fixed with the next version that we don't have to use SSL, just confirming. When will the next version be ready?

Mail boxes for each project is so that BugNET knows for which project to create the issue.

You cant expect everybody (ie your clients and users) to always put a marker in the email (eg a Project code in the Subject line) when reporting issues.

Here is a good posting on the forum about problems configuring the mail reader. Let us know if it works.
