Feature suggestion

Hi, before of all I'd like to thank you for the good job you've done. I've looked for a similar product for some time but I couldn't find a solution comparable to your. I find BugNet the perfect choice for tracking Issues because it does exactly what you expect and has an elegant clean interface.

I would like to suggest some features (which probably I'll try to implement myself as soon as possible) to meet the requirements of a campany use:
1) After adding an issue the project manager (if set) should be notified by email (and added by default in notifications list).
2) User deletion in admin page
3) User change password
4) Bug deletion
5) Localization (I started translating the aspx and template pages)

2,3 and 4 have been added to the next version and are checked in to the source repository. Depending on the urgency for these features you may wish to wait for the next version before adding them yourself. Note that there is no specific timeline on the next release as of yet.

Great to hear that you have started some localization. This feature is on the roadmap.

Your first suggestion sounds like a good workflow enhancement as well.

FYI

Hi, I've just modified the product to support the feature 1 and has been very very easy. I've modified the sp which creates a new bug so that it create a bugnotify entry for the project manager and then added a method to the class BugNotification which is called in the bug class after the db save.

If you're interested in it I can send you the code...
