Editing issue description

How do I edit an issue diescription, for example to correct a spelling mistake?

Hi Zespri,

login and open the issue. Here you see small pencil icons on the left side of the header and the description area. Click on the icon left from description and you can edit it.

Thank you. But what if you don't have the permission? There is a special permission "edit own comments" but there is nothing like "edit own issue description" where own means that it's allowed to the reporter. Or am I missing something?

sounds lika a feature request. Use the Issue List (http://support.bugnetproject.com/Bugs/BugList.aspx?pid=1&s=0&t=3) to review your idea or add a new one (http://support.bugnetproject.com/Default.aspx).

By default only administrators can edit the issue description. This may change to the QA role to align with editing the summary.

You can create a new role with this permission and add the user to the new role.
