Can't log in as admin after install

After getting past the same XML parsing error others had after installation of .7 beta 1 (it went away after removing a line break in the connection string), I thought I was going places. However, now I can't seem to get past the log in screen. From the installation instructions and the log in page, it looks like the info I'm supposed to use is admin/password, but I always get a "Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again." error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you continued the installation after your error I would suggest trying the install again.

Well, it took me three tries, but I finally got it working. I believe my problem was with the log4net.config file. In my first two tries, I had replaced the entire connectionString value instead of just replacing the relevant "Data Source" piece and leaving the rest of that string.

Stupid, maybe, but perhaps this could be clarified in the Installation instructions to save some people time and heartache?
