Simple tutorial for custom reports?

I think it would be great if someone could post a simple tutorial on how to create custom reports for BugNet and how to deploy and use them within.
As usual, the built in reports don't meet the needs of everyone. May be there could even me a free "market place" where people can offer their own reports for download?

For instance, right now I have to write invoices so I have to find out how many hours we spent on certain aspects that are distributed over several tasks. Based on the current reports, I have to look into the summary of every project member and add all their hours of each task manually. (Instead of seing how many hours are spent on the task in total - regardless of the project member) Then I have to find out which tasks (there is usually more than 1) belong to which invoice position and add the associated hours as well.

So for my situation it would be just great to either have super-tasks (see http://www.bugnetproject.com/Forums/tabid/54/forumid/6/threadid/1131/scope/posts/Default.aspx) such as "Invoice position x"
or (as workaround) create a custom field "Invoice position" and have a report that produces a summary of all hours of all tasks associated with this custom field or super-task. An automatically calculated sum would then provide a very simple tool for me to find out if my budget is overdrawn or not.

Okay, this was just a very simple example but I think you know where I am going with this. Since Microsoft provides very good tutorials on how to generate reports with Report Services, it would not take me long to create such a report myself. But I don't know about the specifics in BugNet - so I'd like to see a tutorial that sort of fills that gap. After that it should be possible for me to create any type of report and deploy and use it within BugNet.

Yeah I did not have much joy with custom reports. I ran custom reports outside of of BugNET.
