Hi Davin,

I just found a cool database driven approach for localization.

Perhaps is this a better solution, because you can change resource string until runtime.

Hi

I was helping in translate SharpDevelop and found their way pretty well. They have created simple web application and people have their logins associated with languages they would like to translate. This is db based. Then the db is generated into resource files automatically.

There was also a "changed status"  - if some of the original strings were changed/updated the linked translation strings was automatically invalidated (shown by statistics page).

Maybe they would like to share their tools with bugnet? Why not to ask?

Great suggestion, I will take a look at what they have done.  Our translation is done directly in the database , no resource files are created so it should be easier for us to setup a page or two to handle translations.
