Debugging login issue

Hi all,

I have built the source code for version 7 and I cannot seem to get past the login screen. I enter the correct cridentials but it always rejects them. I have the system running from the install in DEV pointing to the same DB and it runs fine?

I have little or no experience in using the login User Control and would like some advise as to debugging it. What event is fired when the user presses LOG IN...

If you have copied an installed version to a new server be sure that you copy over the web.config file as it contains encryption keys. Without those keys you will not be able decrypt passwords in the database.
