Super-Task

For the fast few weeks we have been using BugNET 0.7.832.0 and our first impression is that it essentially does what we need so we are pretty pleased with it. Thanks!

What we noticed, though, is that it is not possible to create a "super-task" which breaks down into n sub-tasks.
This happens very often:
A customer asks you to do XYZ which breaks down into one task each for the project coordinator, the database developer, the application developer, the documentation guy and so on.
Sure it is possible to create referenced tasks but that's not the same.
What I'd like to do is this:
Create a super-task where headline and general description is entered and may be some specification is uploaded and such. This has to be inherited by the sub-tasks.
Then I create n sub-tasks where I can add task-specific text.
Once all sub-tasks are "resolved", the super-task is "resolved" as well. Or the test guy gets an email asking him to test the changes and, upon success, set the super-task to "resolved" as well.
What do you think?

I think that is would be a very nice enhancement.

I agree. This would be a great feature to have. I've also run into problems where this feature would come in very handy.

Anyway, thanks so much for such a great system. You guys have done a great job.

Do you see this as an improvement to the related issues section, allowing you to specify parent and child relationships for issues?
