Much of my time on the project is spent writing code, whether it be bug fixes, new features or improvements to the application. In between writing code, I work on the layout of the application but this is not my strong point and often becomes a second priority. In order to better improve the UI and layout of the application I would like to recruit someone to fill the UI / user experience role on the project.
Some of the contributions that this role will play include:
- An advocate of a user for the team
- Help improve the UI and layout / create a default theme for the application
- Identify and help with changes required for moving to ASP.NET themes
- Review new features and / or improvements to the application from a UI standpoint
Ideally I would like to bring someone onboard with previous web / application and graphic design experience. Familiarity with ASP.NET, and the themeing engine would also be beneficial. If you can, some screenshots or examples of previous designs would be nice.
