After quite extensive 0.8 testing the community found quite a few bugs in the initial preview release of 0.8. Thanks for your efforts!

The features are great, and the interface clean, and there is so much more you can do with the tool.

SQL script bug solved to migrate from 0.7.880 to 0.7.921 He he, bad practices tend to remain for a long time... I had already signaled that SQL scripts were not always written in a rigorous way, ie by mixing lower and upper case (which for all of us which use MS-recommended cases-sensitive DB leads to errors).   Here's another one: in Install\dbscripts\0.7.891.0.SqlDataProvider.sql, do a replace of '@ProjectID' by '@ProjectId' -> one occurence to replace (if I remember well, at line 55). Despite this very little bug, thanks again and again for BugNet ! Regards, Chris

Newbie to Open Source development Hi guys Firstly, I'd like to congratulate the BugNet community on an excellent product.  I'm working for an organistaion of about 200 employees and I've been tasked with developing a helpdesk/trouble ticket issuing system for all areas of the business - HR, Facilities, IT and Engineering.  Having looked into a few solutions currently out there - BugZilla, Jira, BugTracker.NET I've decided that BugNet is the best for our needs (main benefit being it's clean interface design). However, I'm aware that in order for me to get the application into a workable system for our business it will take quite a bit of customisation (presentation layer, business layer and database).  As this is my first time working with open source software I was wondering how this would affect any future upgrades, patches etc.  (My initial hunch is that we wouldn't be able to without great difficulty in merging changes). Has anyone out there used BugNET as a helpdesk/trouble ticket issuing system for business areas outside of software development and can they share some of their experiences? Charlie

System.Web.Extensions 3.6.0.0Hi I have download the Framework 3.5 SP1 and Visual Studion also, when I try to dowlado the Extension Preview I get a error page was not found from microsoft, I have also install Ajax tool kit so I'm getting error because I need System.Web.Extensions.dll 3.6.0.0 and my Sytem has 3.5.0.0 I have been on several forums for 3 days but no solution. E-Mail configurationI installed BugNet with no real issues today and think it will work very well for us. I am having trouble using the e-mail features. Under the Admin user Host Services I configured my smtp server so that the assignees could get notices. I used the external server with and without // without success. I then started my local smtp server (I don't normally use it) and tried localhost and //localhost again without success. lastly, I am not sure what the POP3 configuration is for. Is that to have BugNet read specific e-mail id for posting bugs via e-mail? Please advise. Thanks

Hide some issue-informations from users Hello, is it possible to hide some issue-information from users? We have reporters which are allowed to create entries and read entries but we want not to allow them to read information which is entered in time-tracking because these are the development-times and they should not be visible to testers. Is this possible? Thank Stefan

DNN installation Hi, I was wondering if there is a 'clean' BugNET module pack for DNN ? So that it can be integrated in an already existing environment ? Could anyone help me out ? All I could find was a complete install package that includes a DNN portal etc. Thanks for your help! /David

MS Exchange support for mailbox reader Hi all, Is it possible to configure an Exchange server instead of a POP3 server? If yes, is there any specific configuration option to support it? Thanks
